About the Project

This project is a landmark building in Northland, not only for the state-of-the art schooling of up to 1500 young men but as a community hub with a 1200 seat auditorium, outdoor areas and sports facilities.

Construction was delivered via simple staging, a shorter programme, reduced disruption, and improved functionality of the final deliverable. The scope included relocation and minor refurbishment of the existing whare to the lower field, and construction of a two-storey hall with a mezzanine floor for tiered seating, capable of accommodating all students.

A single storey technology block connected to the hall, an administration block including library and café, a general teaching and science block, car parking with integrated access to State Highway 1 and landscaping.

Belfast West Primary and Allenvale Schools

A large dual-school campus, catering for two schools in one location. The campus comprises three buildings: a teaching block, 1,854m2 for year 5-8 pupils; hall and administration building 1,033m2; and Allenvale School, 1,731m2.

At 9,450m2 this new design and build project provides teaching and research laboratories, workspaces, meeting places and flat-floor teaching areas as well as a social and collaborative space with associated amenities.

University of Otago - Dental School Redevelopment

Key to the project was creating a cohesive language between these buildings, connecting new with old, to ensure an ease of navigation for patients, staff and students alike.
