ENVIRONMENT
At Leighs, we are committed to making a positive impact on the social and economic aspects of sustainable construction while minimising any negative effects on the environment.
As an ISO 14001 accredited organisation with a formal Environmental Management System, and proudly Toitū carbonreduce certified, we work closely with our clients to achieve shared environmental and sustainability goals.

Environment
The key principals that LCL adopts to minimise the construction footprint and environmental impacts are within an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) that is delivered for all projects by the Environmental and Sustainability Team and implemented by the Project Team.
The EMP for the project aims to identify, mitigate and monitor potential environmental issues that may arise during the construction phase, and ensure compliance with all relevant authorisations, contractual requirements, and resource consents. Additionally, it demonstrates the key environmental and sustainability drivers that LCL implements for each project.
