Raewood Fresh Meats & Small Goods Processing Facility
About the Project
There were strict service requirements in terms of temperature control and other services, including wet floors with drainage facilities throughout. The specialised nature of the building called for substantial mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing services.
Leighs' brief was to construct a processing facility, retail outlet, and office block, along with substantial siteworks, in an extremely tight timeframe, as the client needed the new facility to be operational in time for pre-Christmas sales.

Location
The project consisted of the processing facility in the rear half of the building, a retail outlet in the front half, and an office block built on the infrastructure of an old house that stood on the property. There were also 6000m² of siteworks involved in the contract.
"Leighs' down-to-earth approach makes solving the issues that occur during construction very easy. They are a great team to work with and always deliver what we want, when we want it."
