About the Project
This project in Addington involved deconstructing the existing fire station, before building the new Spreydon Fire Station.
Post-earthquakes, the New Zealand Fire Service embarked on reconstructing a number of fire stations around Christchurch.

The Station is comprised of two appliance bays with rear entries and front exits, operational decontamination wash and storage areas, transitional showers, PPE storage spaces, five single bedrooms, with provision for a sixth, and appropriate ablutions, gym, kitchen, lounge, operations room, quiet room and meeting room.
