The Piano: Centre for Music and The Arts

About the Project

The Piano includes a 330-seat, raised-stage auditorium, with acoustics designed to enhance presentation of performance music to the fullest.

The auditorium is also suitable for large and small performances, drama, dance and music productions, recordings, festivals, lectures and workshops.

The auditorium is fully soundproof and wired for the latest in lighting and audiovisual technologies. The stage is able to accommodate a full choir, orchestra and performance groups.

The facility includes two smaller wooden-sprung performance spaces, along with several drop-in studios, equipped with pianos and a meeting room for the not-for-profit community and other group meetings.
