About the Project

The Christchurch Mail Handling Centre is a facility of national importance and an essential component in New Zealand’s postal infrastructure.

The 30,000m² project was constructed on a greenfields site that forms part of the Christchurch International Airport campus.

The 10,000m² building accommodates a range of activities and the equipment required of what is essentially a national distribution centre. The facility is also home to office space, meeting rooms, secure areas, staff amenities, and shared social areas.

Interim Post-Entry Quarantine Facility
