About the Project
Mainfreight contracted Leighs Construction to undertake this large and logistically complex three-stage project.
The works included demolition, site clearance and ground remediation to enable construction of 30,000m² of storage and freight logistics warehousing, in addition to high quality offices and staff facilities.

Construction included a new food warehouse, freight terminal, main office building extension, and substantial siteworks, including weighbridge and truck wash facilities. Offices with a full commercial kitchen, ablution block and changing rooms opened alongside the weighbridge and the freight terminal and yards.
